Purpose

Explain where the Quote # link goes once a quote has been issued.

Overview

On the Submissions list and on submission details, the Quote # link opens the issued policy once a quote has been advanced and issued, rather than the earlier quoted version. The link is the quickest route from a submission to the policy it produced.

Expected Behaviour

• For an issued quote, the Quote # link opens the issued policy in read only view.
• The Quote # column keeps showing the quote number the submission started with. Only where the link goes changes, so the number on the screen and the version that opens are not the same.
• A quote that has not been issued opens as it did before, on the step it was left at.
• The link works the same way in the Policy module and in the broker Gateway.

Steps

1. Go to Submissions.
2. Select the Quote # against the submission you want.

Notes and Edge Cases

• To change an issued policy, start the transaction you need, such as a change, from the policy itself.
