Claims Module, Finance Module, Gateway Module, Policy Module & Product Module

• Fees can now be overridden through the rules, allowing your product designer to set fee override amounts. If you have an internal product designer, please refer to the guide for more information. If you would like to implement this new functionality, please submit a support change request.

 

Finance Module

• A/R Reconciliation (In Progress – Edit Mode) – An existing overpayment credit from a broker’s account can now be applied to a policy during A/R reconciliation. Credits previously recorded in the broker’s A/R account can be selected and applied to one or more policies, ensuring excess payments are accurately allocated. The credit can only be applied to policies within the same broker code and broker office combination. This update enhances accuracy in policy balances and improves efficiency during the reconciliation process. 

 

Finance Module, Gateway Module & Policy Module

• Cancellation now preserves previously accepted referral rules, so reinstatements do not trigger new referrals for items already approved.

 

Gateway Module & Policy Module

• Pink Cards are now displaying the Brokerage Legal name to match the Declaration document.

 

Gateway Module, Policy Module & Product Module

• You can now capture and track an Alternate Policy Number, supported in search, Policy Overview, and print outputs, and automatically copied to renewals and changes. This enables manual entry of the lead policy number when participating on a subscribed policy but not leading/issuing the policy document, and/or entering an open market policy number when the documents are generated by them outside the Modular system. The Alternate Policy Number can also be made available for reporting, including Bordereaux. If you have an internal product designer, please refer to the guide for more information. If you would like to implement this new functionality, please also submit a support change request as the onboarding sheet requires updating along with your product. 

 

Intelligence Module 

• Note the following changes to the data warehouse:

  • We now have a true location number on risk locations. Prior to the introduction of this new field, the LocationNumber was consistent with the risk group number in the data warehouse datamarts.

  • The written premium and written premium summary fact tables will now have both fields (LoationNumber and RiskGroupNumber).

  • The new location number field was backfilled with numbers for all previously issued policies. The Underwriting Report will now have both fields. 

  • The following data warehouse tables are impacted:

    • presentation.factWrittenPremium 

    • presentation.factWrittenPremiumSummary 

  • The following intelligence module reports are impacted: Underwriting Report 

 

Stakeholder Module

• Brokerages can now enter their mailing address manually when updating their profile. This update removes reliance on the Canada Post lookup service. It helps when a brokerage uses an address that Canada Post does not recognize.
