A system-generated activity can now be created whenever payment method and payor information is updated. This activity will include details of what was changed, who made the change, and when. Please submit a support ticket if you would like this system generated activity (SYSCHGPYMT) to be onboarded within your environment.
-
The Policy Term field now includes placeholder text — “Choose all applicable terms for payment update” — to guide users in making selections. Additionally, a confirmation modal has been introduced to display the applied payment methods, allowing users to verify that their chosen policy terms accurately reflect the selected payment method.
Gateway Module & Policy Module
-
A new feature has been developed to synchronize renewals issued in advance with the current policy term. Provided a renewal is not yet in force, when a current term policy change is done, the following will occur based on the situation:
-
The renewal has been issued by the system through auto renewal; the renewal will be reversed and re-renewed.
-
The renewal was manually issued by a user; a SYSUPDATE activity will be added noting the change could not be applied.
-
The renewal is in progress; the system will close the work item. It will re-renew in the renewal process.
-
If a current term cancellation is done, the renewal will be reversed and because of the cancellation it will not re-renew in the renewal process.
-
If a current term reinstatement is done, the renewal will be created in the overnight renewal process.
-
-
New functionality is now available which allows an underwriter to accept or reset referral conditions so brokers can issue policies without unnecessary re-referrals. This functionality is essential when hide premium conditions are linked to referrals.
Intelligence Module
- When a policy is issued, consent is given for either the Application for Insurance, the Premium Finance Agreement or both. That consent is now being persisted in the database for reporting.
Policy Module
- Payment schedules can now be downloaded from Policy.
Product Module
- A product designer can now configure the Continue button that advances a quote towards issuance. A modal with a confirmation message will also now appear and can be configured. See product guide for more information.
- When a policy is issued, consent is given for either the Application for Insurance, the Premium Finance Agreement or both. That consent is now being persisted in the database for reporting.
- Premium can now be hidden when a rule condition exists for a specific role or role group. When premium is hidden a quote proposal will not generate. This functionality should be implemented in production after the functionality for an underwriter to accept rule conditions has been deployed in September. Implementing these features together allows for the premium to be hidden and then to be revealed, and a quote proposal generated, once the rule conditions have been accepted. A system for generic reference data tables that can be loaded via Excel (similar to postal code zones) and accessed by the rules engine during rule evaluation. This will make rule development more efficient for product designers. See the product guide for more details.
